The function, classification and performance requirements of rubber oil.
Rubber oil is a product of petroleum refining process.
It is one of the important raw materials for synthetic rubber and rubber manufacturing industries.
Rubber oil can be used in rubber production to improve the elasticity, flexibility, processability and mixing properties of rubber.
Common rubber oil is divided into different molecular structure and composition: paraffin base oil, naphthene base oil, aromatic base oil.
The ideal rubber oil should have the following properties: good compatibility, less volatile, processing, operability, good lubricity, had no bad effect on the physical properties of vulcanized rubber, good emulsification, less pollution, non-toxic, light color, good stability and source is adequate, affordable.
(1) the oxidation resistance and light stability of paraffin base rubber oil is good, but relatively poor emulsification, compatibility and low temperature, so in many applications, the compatibility of paraffin base rubber oil with rubber is poorer, unable to provide a good processing performance, but paraffin oil is perfect for EPDM EPDM, and paraffin oil in environmental protection is very good, is worth to recommend, for the rebound elasticity and anti-aging properties of rubber has very good help.
(2) the aromatic base rubber oil has the best compatibility with rubber, and the rubber products are high in strength, high in quantity and low in price.
But the color is deep, the pollution is big, the toxicity is big, along with the environmental protection requirement increasing, will be limited gradually.
(3) naphthenic rubber oil with paraffin and aromatic based feature, the emulsification and compatibility is better, and pollution-free, non-toxic, adaptive analysing rubber is more, wide application, is the ideal rubber oil. |
